I had a dream about @Mike_Eagle…

Mike Eagle and all his friends were staying at my apartment ( in L.A. a place I’ve never been before) and were packing up their stuff and about to leave when I ran outside past Mike dressed in his clothes and making fun of him. Mike ran after me, roller skates magically appeared on our feet and we started skating really fast down a deserted freeway.

Mike finally caught up to me and we both started laughing so hard that we fell down together. When we looked around still laughing, we noticed that we had ended up in a huge pile of cherry tomatoes inside a supermarket.

We then decided that the sound of cherry tomatoes crashing to the floor made the best sounds ever and that they had to be sampled. So in order to recreate the sounds we skated all over L.A. crashing ourselves into cherry tomatoes in every store with a tiny tape recorder and we both laughed our asses off ever after…

Japan 2010 Studio Ghibli Museum and Monjayaki…

Unfortunately no pics are allowed inside the museum but it was an amazing experience.

After the museum we met up with our pen pals and they introduced us to Monjayaki. It’s Tokyo’s version of Okonomiyaki. It looks like a mess but it is tasty.

Japan 2010 Walnuts Garden…

At the end of the giant Buddah park there is a Walnuts Garden.

It’s basically a squirrel and bunny petting zoo and a stage for a monkey show.

Japan 2010 Ami Town…

On the second day of our last week in Tokyo we took a train out to a small town named Ami.

We met up with our pen pal Naomi and she took us on a tour of this giant daibutsu ( giant Buddah ) It is the largest statue in the world.

These Koi were so hungry they were practically crawling out of the water to catch some scraps of food.

On our way to Matsuyama, Ehime on the Shikoku Island…
We managed to catch a ferry boat from Hiroshima port going to Matsuyama port.

After arriving at the port we had to take a short walk to the nearest station

This is the first station that we have had our ticket stamped by hand by a station manager. It was a very old and tiny station

We finally made it to our very obscure hotel after asking the nice people at the police station for directions and a short cab ride there
